More horsepower; more torque and unlimited exhilaration. With sporty performance, outstanding driving dynamics and innovative technology, the BMW Performance Power Kit maintains all of BMW's key attributes but allows you to put a personal touch on your BMW. Effects of the modifications to the engine tuning parameters include: Increased torque of 317ft-lbs. (manual transmissions) and 332ft-lbs (automatic transmissions) available from just 1,500 rpm. Increased power output of 20 horsepower from 300 to 320hp. Faster acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (0.2 seconds quicker than the standard model). Even with this increased power, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions remain the same as for the standard model. To deal with the extra heat generated as a result of the engine modifications, an additional radiator, air intakes and a more powerful fan for the main radiator are incorporated into each kit. With the BMW Performance Power Kit, your warranty validity and vehicle quality are not compromised in any way.

sounds like a good deal but how do you get the software update?

dealership...and the IS has over boost to 370ft/lbs, which this doesn't. But, the radiator and air ducts are important for this car since it runs sooo hot already

yeah you prly won't get much hits here...

I don't think the BMW Performance Power Kit reflash has the overboost feature that the 335is has, otherwise it's the same.

This does seem like a good deal, here are Tischer's prices for reference:

Air Duct (PN: 51742157668): $174.59 (MSRP $198.00)
Tischer Total: $1530.59 + shipping

I'm sure it's a trip to the dealer. Note that it also included the additional radiator, ducting and an increased pitch fan for the main radiator. Pretty good for $899 and a warranty.

BMW OEM is such weak shit, I always laugh at customers when they buy this overpriced nonsense.

Get a GIAC stage 1 flash, your car will make equal power to the trillion dollar dinan car and soon you will be able to flash and unflash your car for service visits.

Hmm, this power kit for $1500?

Id rather buy an $800 tune and a $400 intake that will leave these BS addons in the dust.

Plus, you cannot get gains with bolt ons alone, you need to chip the car to get past its torque limiting program. With every conceivable bolton purchasable, if I run the stock program it dynos the same as a stock car.

I think the people that would be interested in this kit are the ones that want to maintain their warranty and keep the car as close to OEM as possible

I might see your point when it comes to BMW/Dinan flashes, but I like the idea of a beefed up cooling system.
