NORTH NJ-G37 Coupe jacked, all wheels gone

Fzara20002011-03-04 00:11:26 +0000 #1
FYI-My friend from work parked his G37 Coupe in Garden State Plaza (across from Lord and Taylor) on Friday night and came back an hour later and all his wheels were gone. His car was sitting on a jack, side skirt dented, front bumper sitting on the ground, and now has potential underbody damage.

Unfortunately the camera was pointed the other way and no one witnessed anything, which is hard to believe since it was at 8:30pm. The tow truck refused to tow him so he had to borrow a dealerships spare tire and had to use his donut to tow the car.

F thieves! I guess no where is safe. Guys, please be careful out there!!

Scumbags. I hate hearing about this stuff, I'm sorry for your friend. I remember reading about a guy on m3forum who parked his e46 at GSP and it was keyed when he returned to it after work. Fuck thieves.

It'll make them work a bit harder if they want your wheels, that's for sure.

It does - its like a crime detergent. what ever require more work will make them reconsider

My bosses G37 was hit for all 4 of his wheels last year

He was parked in his driveway.

where at GSP was this? in the parking garage or that weird patch of pavement across from Lord and Taylor?

my e46 m3 had its key cylinder torn out and a lucky $100 bill was removed from my car.

this is scary as I go to GSP every week 2x a week.

sad, wheel locks will make them work harder, but if they want your wheel, they will remove them...at any given cost.
