temp gauge

The how to says cut the left side coolant hose which measures cool coolant temps.. How come you do not cut and install the gauge on the right side to measure the hot coolant temp?

I did it like the "how to" said but I think I want to change sides. Any thoughts?

which how to did you look at? my how-to : www.mudinmyblood.net...howthread.php?t=1413 states to use the right side for the reason you mentioned.

you should use the right side.

I used the write up on the home page how to It says cut the hose on the left side. I have been wanting to get some steel braided hose from work anyhow so maybe I'll change it all out.
