Brute died on me.

Ok after I cleaned all my connections, di-electric greased everything and replacing all my fuses. I took it back out to test and see if my 4x4 problem was fixed. Good news it worked great. Stayed in 4x4 the whole time. Bad news tho is I was driving through a flooded area and I hit a short but deep hole. I had my wife on the back with me and as we came out of the hole the brute stood strait up. I have a snorkeled exhaust which was sticking down in the water as it stood up and I tried to keep enough throttle so it wouldn't die but I couldn't get it turned back over in time before it died. Where the brute stood up the water was very shallow and when I turned it over I heard a slight gulp sound so I know the exhaust took in some water. Don't think it was much. It cranked right back up and blew a fine water mist out the exhaust for about 5-10 seconds and ran fine. Now my question is besides changing out the oil is there anything else I should do? My old quad was a Honda 300 and I would have picked it back up and hit the hole a dozen more times and never thought twice about it lol but I'm not as sure with this quad.

Drain the oil a few times, and you should be ok.

Just give everything a lookover. Have you ran your gas tank vent?
