i looked to see if there was a how to clean the carbs on a 06 650 SRA but i didn't see any. i was just wondering if the is anything that i should know before diving into it. i recently drowned the bike and now there is a hesitation when you get on the gas. it still idles good but stumbles when you punch it and it also backfires up into the carbs a bit if you hit the gas fast

Just remember where everything goes and take everything out to get it clean. Get carb cleaner and jet cleaning wire set and thats all you will need and nice clean area to work. Make sure you have some nice screw drivers so you dont mess up the slot and philips head hardware. Remember the main jet on the front carb is smaller than the one on the rear. Those are the only things you will need to make sure they go back in the same carb they came out of. Nows the time to rejett if you need it. Make sure the idle adjustment plug has been taken out if it hasnt. I cant remember exactly what yrs they started doin that.
