2008 Brute belt light

Hi, I am fresh ATV rider with different questions, I hope you can help me

In june this year I bought a 2008 Brute Force 750, it had 110 hours use.

First thing I did was to change oil, sparkplugs and filters. The man I bought it from had not changed any oil or filter.

Today I started it up to go for a short ride, and the BELT light turned on. It did not blink as belt warning.

The Brute Force has now 138 hours and ODO 1372.

If I must change the drive-belt is there any other parts that can be changed at the same time?

What parts can i expect to change in the future?

I hope you understand my NorwEnglish. There is not many BF riders in Norway, CanAm and Polaris are the best sellers here.

This is a great forum

You can prolly just do the belt light reset & be fine.

yea try the belt light reset. the brutes belt lights come on at 100 hours or a little after to basically make you bring it in and the dealer reset your belt light for you. and from what it sounds like the guy you got it from didnt keep up with maintence? try the belt light reset first
