Guess that damage....

Got the brute stuck tonight in water just up to the top of the wheels, nowhere near sunk, but was throwing some water around trying to get out. Got unstuck and got about 3-4kms down the road. Starting making a clicking sound, not really a knock. Limped it home, and it got worse and worse, finally not starting. I've got 0 compression in the front cyl and the airbox was full of oil. Any guesses? I'd love for it not to be rod bearings, as anything top end i can fix myself.

Good cause its probably broke rings, piston, head gasket or jumped chain. All those can cause compression loss.

Well, got into it today, the bolts holding on the decomp springs on the front cam backed out. I found one bolt and both e clips, doesn't appear to be any other damage, please tell me i don't have to split cases to try to find that other bolt? I've heard of guys leaving starter teeth in there so i'm hoping i'm good to pick up some new bolts and run it.
