does anyone know the torque on the rear axles nut where the hubs bolt on at? i was going to remove them the other day so i could drill and tap my a arms for grease zerts and i couldnt get it off. i tried a 250 ftlb impact and a 3/4 in ratchet with 6 ft cheater pipe and couldnt get it to budge the i kept spinning the tire on the bike when it was on the ground with the cheater pipe. i have a 1250 ftlbs impact but didnt really want to put that much on it if i didnt have to since i havent had very good luck with using that impact before and things not breaking.

I had too take my tire off and wedge a pry bar in the wheel studs. Stand on the pry bar and use a 6' cheater on a big ratchet to break that awesome nut loose. It is not fun! If your not going to change the outside cup, I would just undo the top and bottom spindle bolts and slide the axle and spindle out as one piece.

I would put the big impact on it.. If you just taking it off, It will come loose before you break anything. Although I just use a breaker bar with a cheater pipe while someone holds the breaks.
