You can clean it out with acetone and sylicone it shut or pull it off and clamp on a rubber cap.

You lost me with the first part can I not just silicone it up?

Yes you can. But if you are a water rider ....do what nmkawierider said.

I got clear tubing and put a valve on it. That way I can see if something is in it and can drain it.

So why can't you just use silicone
monsterbrute7502010-08-10 21:41:21 +0000 #7
If you just use silicone and you get a little water in your ab,you have no way to drain it. Myself,I'm not a water rider. My snorks are just insurance.

That what I want them for but I play in water some times what happenes if you leave it open

You can just silicone it but if you do get water in your airbox, chances are the lid is also siliconed up. That means you will have to break that seal. That is unless you check the other tube with the plug in it often.

Could I plug it with a fishing quork and just pull it out if needed
monsterbrute7502010-08-10 20:29:07 +0000 #11
Yes.People have used all sorts of methods.
