that's how dealers are. you need to call and bug them every 3rd day.

you got the bike into their shop before the warranty was up. if there's a problem call kawasaki customer service and they will extend your warranty 6 months.

happens all da time!

I work at a kawie & Suzuki dealer... in the service department. There is NO reason they should have your bike 2 months unless they have one mechanic and 30 or 40 bikes in front of you. DO NOT wait any longer....go up there and ask nicely WTF is going on? If they decide to be butts about it...then be a BIGGER one...really. How much longer is on your warranty? Also...call Kawie's customer service and raise heck. Trust me....they will contact the dealer...It happened to the Kawie dealer about 40 miles from us...they got fined $5,000 from Kawie for certain things. They will eat the dealers alive if its done correctly. If you need any help at all please let me know. I will try to help if I can.

I hate to tell you this...but you probably won't. I have heard of some dealers doing that...its a gimmick for them to make more money. You should NOT have to of paid a dime. I deal with warranty work all the time. They get an ok from Kawie before they tear into it....if warranty then don't cover it for some reason...THEN they bill you...NOT before. NEVER pay up front for anything like that. I would have went off...

If you don't pay then they can keep your bike until the bill is paid. Like in your case...if you pay before....you will never get it back. I am very sorry. I would call Kawasaki on them and explain what happened. Most think that don't do anything...but Kawie & Yamaha is best known for dealer fines...or in some cases closing a dealer up.
