When I start loosing a belt, it sounds like sticks or small rocks hitting the plastics while moving, then as I put my ear to it the sound is coming fron under the clutch cover. Then I know I better get back to the truck...carefully...So, if it only does it in nutral or moving, might consider it.

Your cooling fan might be going bad.

To verify, with engine off and when fan is NOT moving, turn the fan by hand and listen to the noise. Or, disconnect the power wire connector to the fan and apply direct 12 VDC and listen to the noise. Let us know what you find. If indeed, the fan is making the noise, I will tell you more about it.
