Brute won't roll backwards when in neutral

Any clues what could cause this? If I crank the brute up and put it in reverse it frees up and you can push it backwards. As soon as I put it in neutral and push it backwards it will roll about a foot and then the backwheels stop rolling. Once the wheels stop, I can try to push it backwards again and it will roll about a foot and stop again. It rolls forward fine. I am thinking it has something to do with brakes or clutch. Any of you guys had this problem in the past?

My brute is a 08. A few weeks ago I pulled the CVT cover off and noticed the first half of the clutch sheave had a crack in it. I found a clutch off an 05 model and put it on my bike. The only difference I seen on the clutches were the weights. Could this have something to do with it? I also found a washer laying on the floor the other day that could have gone on the clutch bolt. If the retaining bolt for the clutch is missing one of the washers could it cause my problem? Going to pull CVT cover off tomorrow to do some investigating but wanted to get some opinions what to look for.

Dont think the problem is in the CVT , When you tear it down, take the belt off and roll the secondary by hand , sounds to me like a broken tooth in the transmission
