I was washing the Brute this weekend after some friends and I had a mud slinging contest. I found what I would call a two wire plug in connector (unplugged) coming from the front of the machine. This plug was on the back side of the fuel tank between the tank and the tanks plastic tub guard ( I think thats what you call it ). So I started looking and found another plug just like it (looked like this one is comming from the tail light). So I tried to plug them in But they are about 3" from reaching each other. I checked the tail light, it and the brake light both work fine. Any ideas what they are for?

on the wiring diagram it looks to be a spare accessory connector.....I am pretty sure, but not 100% sure....someone else will likely chime in and confirm....I have the same plug on mine, although it is packed full of crud!!

I have those too... some say that they are for a reverse light for foreign models... but I've checked mine and they both have power when the key is on...
