Has anyone had this problem?

Mods listed in signature below, I have had this problem for awhile now and cannot figure out the cause. Just under full throttle position no matter what speed I'm going the quad will backfire, and loose power as long as the throttle is in thaqt position! if I move the throttle to WOT it clears up instantly and runs fine, if I let off a little its fine!. I ohm'd out the throttle position sensor which as the manual says should be between 4-6 ohms, it was 5.4=good to me but it did not change it's resistance when I moved the throttle, I think it should but not 100% shure. Almost all my connections are greased except the throttle position sensor(cannot get at it with snorkel now) and air temp sensor. So has anybody had to change there TPS, and are there any other things I should check that could cause such a problem? (this is with the PCV installed and removed same prob)

I would think the TPS should change as you change positions. This sounds like a bad spot that causes it to lean in that spot. I'd change it anyway. The only other thing I can think of is an error in the maping at that RPM or a bad HL module.

Yah changing the sensor means changing the intire throttle body assembly which is like $850 canadian! my bike is still under warrenty so I may just have to take it in. Frim what I understand the HL module only plays a part with speeds below 10mph, but maybe its acting funny, I will remove it next weekend and see I guess. I really dont want to take it to a dealer
