Slightly smoking on revs

I took my 08 brute out last weekend on a big ride and Now when I rev on it there is real lightly white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I took the air box lid off and filter and found some oil in the bottom and on the air filter. No vie been reading thrue the forums trying to find out how I got oil there and I've mostly seen that wheelies cause it. My case this weekend did not involve wheelies though but something I'm sure that isn't very common did. We were out playing on a sand bar and I was standing up in the quad in reverse and I guess I leaned to far forward and the intake snork latched onto my chest. Lol sounds crazy I know and I had a few beers in me so that's my excuse but it was latched on pretty darn good and by the time I got it off it had almost died. Right after that is when i knot iced the little smoke coming out the exhaust when I revved it hard. Could this have caused oil to get in my air box? Hope it's nothing serious. Left a he'll of a ring around my chest though

Oil in the airbox is something that I think all of us battles except the guys that did the catch can mod....it wont hurt anything, just annoying. If you managed to somehow get a tiny bit of oil to the tops of your cylinders on the sparkplugs then it would cause it to smoke till its all burned off...if its not smoking from oil then welcome to the ticking time bomb club.

I'm not very interested in that club lol. I hope that's not my case though. I'm not sure if it's oil or not. What's coming out of the exhaust kinda smells like gas like it's running rich but I'm not sure. I'm going to clean it up real good and change the oil n see how it does.
