Need a Replacement Front Oil Seal ASAP!!!

I was installing a winch yesterday when I noticed my engine skid had some residue on it.

Pulled the skid and sure enough my front oil seal is leaking. I called all the dealer within a reasonable distance and none of them have the seal in stock so I ordered two from my local dealer that won't be here until next Friday. I have searched with no luck but was wondering if anyone has a cross referenced seal that will work from Advance Auto, Autozone, or Oreillys? I tried a seal number 1990 from Oreillys that was just a little too big on the O.D. and a little small on the I.D.. I installed it but it got cocked and wouldn't seal it one spot. I think if I had sanded a little more of the coating off the outside it would have worked. If anyone knows the number for a seal that will work other than the oem then I'd greatly appreciate it. I've searched with no luck. I might loose my mind if I have to go a week without my Brute!

Thanks,

George

Look around in that oil seal thread stickied up top, seems like the last few pages might have something on them if I remember correctly..

Just found the thread. lol Don't know how I overlooked it. I'm reading my way through it now. I'm wondering if a different seal isn't found if there would be a way to make another plate where the seal goes to accept a better seal that already exist on another atv that doesn't leak. Looks like the plate just bolts on with the four bolts.

Thanks,

George
