i was riding out by my house and noticed my temp was up and fan not working.. i have no put a switch on it yet.. i got back home and hooked the fan straight to a battery and worked fine.. hooked it back up to the temp sensor and when the fan was suppose to come on it came on for like a second went off cut right back on and cut right back off.. when i put my rad up top i had to cut the wire coming out of the temp sensor and add more wire to it to make it to the racks.. my question is what do i do with the temp sensor after i hook the switch up.. not really worried about the fun cutting on automatically as long as i got the switch so do i just bypass the temp sensor?

You can bypass the temp sensor if you have a guage, that way you can monitor engine temps.
