exhaust trouble

Well I have a 20009 brute with lrd exhuast, at the end of exhaust where it goes into the head pipe the 2 of 3 Allen bolts are coming out, I've tightened them up but the keep coming out one is completely stripped, its only a month old don't know why its doing that could use help or ideas how to fix it, thanks fellas

Could you possibly put bigger screws in and some loc-tite or something? I dunno how it'd hold up to the heat. OR if you dont mind drilling them out later when you have to repack the exhaust...how about using some pop-rivets? I'd go with stainless or aluminum so they dont rust.

i would go with stainless rivets if you go that route. much stronger

I wouldnt weld it unless theres just NO other way to make it stay together...pop rivets would be really easy, really cheap, and WONT come apart till you want it to. Thats what I would do if it were my bike.

i would contact lrd before i did anything to it and ask them what the hell is goin on and tell them your having problems. maybe they will send you a new one... worth asking

I contacted the place I bought it, and they said the wouldn't guess I could the main lrd place
