front shock mounts breaking

I bought a 2" lift kit for my 750 about a year ago and how it bolts up in the front isn't the greatest design obviously because my front shock mounts are cracked. Has anyone else had this problem? So now it looks like i'm going to have to take the front plastic off and the rad and some how rebuild them and incorperate the lift into it, has anybody else had to do this and if yes then do you possibly have any pics i could see to get some ideas on how i'm going to do this.

isn't the front lift added to the bottom shock mount? I know on mine it is on the bottom...

if the top mount is broken, you should buy a RDC lift... it looks like it would reinforce the shock mount... but I also don't see why you couldn't fab up some brackets to weld onto the frame and incorporate the lift into it... but then if you ever wanted to take the lift off, you have to re-fab the bracket again...

i have a extreme life for sale,it runs across side to side . u could drill some holes and bolt it to the cross member on the shock tower

That should work well...my 6" catvos is built similar to the extreme in the front, but with much heavier metal and it does bolt through the crossmember.
