Axle Problem

So last weekend I replaced an axle boot on the Brute, put it all back together and went riding. About 3 hours into the ride I'm in a hole just playin around and POP. The friggin shaft comes out of the knuckle. I haven't taken it apart yet to check it but I HOPE it's just the snap ring on the shaft came off and the knuckle and shaft separated, IDK, it was a little bent when I finally got it off. Even if that isn't the problem I think from now on I might just replace the snap ring any time I take the axle apart just to be safe. Anyone have this happen or think the snap ring is my problem or is this a more serious problem, and yes I just put the lift and 30's on, should I be expecting this repeatedly.

the lift and 30's should have little to no affect. I think its more of something went wrong in the reassembly process and wasnt completely seated correctly

Just took the axle apart to see what the problem was. The axle snapped flush with the inner knuckle. It looks like it was cut, the break was just as clean as you could make with a saw. Also the C-clip that goes inside the outer cup was "welded" to the cup. The only thing I can think of to do that is lack of grease, I thought I had plenty in there and that it was smeared all over everything, I guess not. Looks like it was all my fault.

Ouch, a hard lesson learned for sure.
