Meant to do this this morning & forgot.

Special thanks to all our service men. Today the anniversary of a day when many Fathers, Husbands, & Sons gave their lives while serving our country.

I've had the pleasure of knowing a few WWII vets. They have passed away now but they would tell me stories of losing buddies, the individual acts of heroism and selfishness were unbelievable. They would tell me stories and I could tell the war was still raging in their minds. Some could never get over it and took it to their graves. At times like that I felt honored even to be allowed to stand in their shadow. Thanks for ALL that have served and are serving still.

Agreed. There's one at our church. I've read his book "God and Country Forever." Good stuff. Once he even played my guitar & sang. haha...
